    John Maurice Kelly ( 1931 – 1991) was an Irish  politician who served as a cabinet minister from 1981 to 1982, &  Attorney General from May 1977 to July 1977 and Chief Whip from 1973 to 1977. He served as a TD for the Dublin South Central from 1973 to 1989.

    Kelly was also a noted legal writer, who authored the standard law work on Irish Constitutional law. 

    Discovered after his death, this is a novel of political intrigue set in Dublin in the 1960's. Narrated by  Redmond boyle, second in command to Daithí Flood, leader of the opposition. Flood goes missing in the weeks leading up to the election, and redmond must discover the dark truth..
