Originally published in the USA by Dutton, 1939, this is an illustrated 1946 Ireland edition of The Turf-Cutter's Donkey Kicks up his heels by Patricia Lynch ( the 3rd sequel to her original (and bestselling) The Turf-Cutter's Donkey.
In very good condition internally, no marks or damage, bright frontis illustration
The dustjacket has a large inscription ( misspelt) by a child - Jacinta Skelly First PRISE (sic) on the inside front flap. The dustjacket shows closed tears to the upper edge, especially at the top, and small areas of chipped loss to the ( delicate) paper cover. Now in a modern cleart plastic removable Herma dustjacket protector.
