A concise pocket dictionary. The author was an Irish language writer, teacher and storyteller, writing under the pen-name "An Seabhac" (The Hawk). Imprisoned three times for his activities as an Irish Volunteer in 1913, he went on to be a member of Seanad Éireann and secretary of the Irish Manuscripts Commission, as well as a prolific writer of short stories and writing As Gaeilge.
