Product Description
The Paul Temple series of radio plays made the name of Francis Durbridge, who went on to write a number of highly successful novels featuring the suave writer-cum-amateur sleuth. 'The Tyler Mystery' is unusual in the canon of Paul Temple novels in that it gives Steve, Temple's glamorous yet resourceful wife, a central role in the case that a baffled Scotland Yard unofficially asks Temple to help them solve. The case opens with the discovery of a body found in the boot of a car abandoned in a layby. A short while later the body of another young woman is found. Three more murders are committed before Temple and Steve discover the reason for them and the criminal activities they were intended to conceal.
