Keogh Square in Inchicore (Dublin) is deeply remembered by its former residents as a tight-knit community. Converted from the former British military Richmond Barracks in the 1920s to tackle the city's housing crisis, it served as social housing until it was demolished in 1969 to make way for St. Michael's Estate.
Liam O'Meara gathered testimonies and accounts from former residents , as well as including a huge range of original photographs of the residents, special occasions, and teh buildings on the site .
